How often do you read the same book? Once a book has been read, that's probably the last time you will read it. Particularly if it's a thriller or a romance novel, as you will now know the outcome of the storyline.
You may read classics, literary fiction and self development books more than once but generally books are read once and then either left on a shelf or discarded.
With a preloved book they are being circulated and being read and enjoyed more than once, they are being saved from going to landfill and buying preloved books is much cheaper than buying a new book. Because preloved books are cheaper it could mean that you can try a new author or a different genre without worrying about the waste of money if you don't like it.
There maybe some signs of the book having been read before but does that really matter if you are only going to read it once and then have it left sitting on a bookshelf or worse being thrown away. The pictures shown are a small selection of the preloved books I have available in my pop-up bookshop and I have tried to show how good the condition of these books are by showing pictures of the spines and the book edges.
Preloved books are better for the environment as they stop books from going to landfill unnecessarily, they are better for your bank balance as they will be much cheaper than buying new books every time, and you get the chance to find new authors/genres at a fraction of the cost of a new book.
